GERRY’S. Montague Street. (the next lane to us, with Fresh Food on the corner.)

A wonderful, family run cafe with fantastic food.  You can get a huge irish breakfast for only 8euro. They also have lunch/dinner menu, or you can sit in just for a coffee.

YUM-YUM’S. Camden Street. (beside the Palace, across from Fresh Food)

GREAT IRISH BREAKFAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And delicious coffee.

CAFE NOUS. Harcourt Street.

Great place for cheap sandwiches. Delicious coffee, great priced Irish breakfast. All sorts of wonderful fillings in  the sandwiches all for only 2.95 (take away) or 4.95 (sit in).  On Friday’s, there’s a special for 5.95 which is often a warm meal with chips or wedges and salad. Closes at 3pm and not open on weekends.

Green 19. Camden Street

Right around the corner, this local gem serves casual food and excellent cocktails. Try their homemade chips, or pies, sample a signature cocktail. A dinner for two for under 20-25 Euro, plus drinks.

Best chippy in Dublin!  They have spectacular garlic fries and an amazing dish called Taco fries. And very, very friendly staff always ready for a chat and a smile!  A must after a night of drinking!!!!!  lol.  Just two minutes from the hostel.
