Because The Camden Place Hostel is located so close to the centre of the city, transportation to and from here is easily accessible. We are very close to both the Luas line and the 16A bus, which offers easy access to Dublin Airport.
FROM THE AIRPORT:
To get to the hostel cheaply, consider taking the 16A bus at Dublin Airport. The bus will let you off at Camden street, which is quite close to Camden Place Hostel Just take a left turn off of Camden Street and you should see us between an art store O’SULLIVAN and Ladbrokes betting shop. The bus trip should take less than an hour and costs €2.20. You’ll need exact change.
There is also the Aircoach bus, which is avialbe 24 hours a day, offering service between Dublin Airport and the centre of the city. Tickets for the bus can be purchased at the airport or on the bus itself. The bus will let you off by Trinity College, which is very close to The Camden Place Hostel. You will need to ask them to drop you at the TRINITY COLLEGE (approx. 30 min from airport)and from there you will take GRAFTON street all the way, it will change for Stephens Green West (Keep going straight, you will pass TJ Fridays) . You will arrive at a set of lights, keep going straight. Stephens Green will change for Harcourt Street (As a reference you will have the PIE BISTRO/O Callaghan’s Hotel on the corner of Harcourt) Keep going …you will have 2-3 minutes and you will pass Harcourt Hotel and you will see a small side tunnel street. Just before the COPPER FACE JACKS Hotel turn right in the tunnel and you will see the Ireland flag and small sign for the hostel.
By Taxi
At a good time of day, a taxi ride from Dublin Airport takes a half hour. During rush hour, however, it can take almost an hour. Either way, taxi rides cost anywhere from €25-€35.
FROM BUS STATION (BUSARAS):
Following the tramline, take the five-minute walk towards O’Connell street. Take the 16A to Camden street. The hostel is between an art store and betting shop.
FROM HEUSTON STATION:
The 92 bus leaves you off at Kildare Street, which you should follow to Stephens Green. Here, turn right and walk to Grafton Street, turning left and following the Green. Make a right and you should reach York Street, which is near to Aungier Street, which becomes Camden Street. Taking a let turn on Camden, you should see O’Sullivans art store and a betting shop. Camden Place is between them.
